SHOES
Yeah, I could have shown you some of the awesome heels I have that I haven't worn in a year and a half, or my variety of cute chucks or flats, but that wouldn't be accurate for today. Today I'm wearing my slippers my sister got me for Christmas a few years ago. And they are COMFY. They use to have pompoms on them at the tops, but my cats would chase my feet every time I walked so I took those off.

So, sorry I have been MIA. My little bubs got sick and it was pretty much a parent's hell on earth there for a couple days, but he seems to be much better now! So, without further ado, I bring you days 18 through 21.

SOMETHING YOU BOUGHT
We have this awesome pop-out window with racks off of the kitchen that has a screen/vent on top that I'm sure is for plants, in our new house. I'm very excited about this since I haven't had a chance to grow anything for a long time due to lack of space, time, or whatever. Here are my little seedlings (only a couple days old) for basil and cilantro I recently bought and planted.

We're in the new house, and here are my two new photos!
HAPPINESS
If you haven't had a child, I can't even begin to describe the feeling of holding your baby for the first time. Even if you have a child, you probably got to hold your baby soon if not immediately after birth. I didn't. I didn't get to hold my baby until 2 days after he was born. Luckily I was drugged up or the emotional torment would have eaten me alive. It's so hard to describe the physical and emotional wave that totally enveloped me when this tiny being was placed in my arms. For me, it was akin to the aftermath of crying, when you feel relieved and warm and know that everything will be alright. But times a million.
MORNING
He's always happiest in the morning. Yes, I'm going to be one of those parents who think their kid is the greatest and the world and everything pretty much revolves around them.

WHERE YOU SLEEP
I'm lucky enough to have my dream bed. It takes up most of our room, but hey, it's worth it. Hopefully in our new house I can put the mosquito netting up. It makes me feel like a little kid playing a princess.
CLOSE UP
My eyes use to be blue - like a startling blue, much like Milo's, but now they're more greenish. Weird.
